THEWARRIOR'S
GARDEN

A Training Northwest Event

You've trained with the rifle. You've put rounds on target.
But the weapon is only as steady as the warrior behind it.

The Warrior's Garden is a full-day experience built to develop the warrior — not just the weapon. Grappling. Range time. Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. One day to find your center and learn to fight from it.

Most training stops at the trigger.

You can zero a rifle. You can draw from a holster. You can put groups inside a 2-inch circle at 100 yards.

But what happens when it gets real? What happens when the earth shifts and your center gets shaky?

The range can't simulate that. A timer can't recreate it. And no amount of range time can prepare you for the moment when everything depends on who you are under pressure — not just what you know how to do.

We spend thousands on the sword and almost nothing on the man who holds it.

A true warrior doesn't just have skills. He has a base. A center of gravity — physical and emotional — that holds when everything around him is chaos. He can respond rather than react. Hold safety for his family and community. Remain calm in the storm.

That's what this day is about.

Training at The Warrior's Garden

The day. Start to finish.

Three training blocks. Three different ways your center of gravity will be tested — and strengthened. This isn't about checking boxes. It's about learning to find your base when someone or something has unsettled it.

8:00 AM — Morning Session

Grappling & Physical Base

You'll start on the mats. No experience required — you can't learn jiu jitsu in a day. It's about feeling what it means to lose your physical center of gravity, recover it, and establish a strong base. Pressure changes everything — the body you thought you knew starts working against you. Coordination disappears. Clear thinking turns to static. The grappling mats put you there — so you can learn to come back.

Midday Session

Range Time & Applied Fundamentals

After a morning on the mats, you'll learn to put your physical base behind your rifle and apply it to steady, deliberate shots. You'll feel what happens to your accuracy when your base is solid — and what happens when it isn't. Your center isn't theoretical anymore — you'll learn how it impacts your shots.

Afternoon Session

Elements & Grounding Practice

This is the part most training programs skip entirely — and it's the part that matters most. Using the natural elements of fire, water, earth, and air, you'll work through guided meditation and grounding practices designed to stabilize your emotional center. The same way the morning challenged your physical base, this session challenges your emotional and spiritual base. You'll learn to return to both.

Evening

Dinner & Fire

The day ends the way it should — around a fire with the men who went through it with you. Dinner is provided. Conversation is real. If you want to camp and spend the night on the property, you're welcome to. If not, no pressure. Either way, you'll have earned the meal and the fire.

The triad of the warrior.

Most training programs develop one leg of this triad — the physical. A skilled shooter who can't manage his own nervous system is a liability. A strong grappler who's never sat with silence will break at the wrong moment. The Warrior's Garden develops all three — on the same day, in the same place, with the same men.

The Elements You'll Work With

Each element mirrors something inside you. The afternoon grounding session uses them as doorways into the parts of yourself that don't get trained at the range.

🜂

Fire

Fire doesn't destroy — it reveals. It burns away the false so truth can stand. On the mats and in life, heat is how you find out what's real.

🜄

Water

The ability to flow and adapt. Finding calm in the current when everything moves against you.

🜃

Earth

Your base. Your root. Your anchor when the storm hits.

🜁

Air

Breath. Presence. The space between stimulus and response where you choose who you are.

Private forest and range property in Granite Falls, Washington

This is for you if:

  • You believe masculinity in America is broken and you're not interested in complaining about it — you're looking to reclaim it in yourself first.
  • You want to be the man your family turns to in a crisis. Not because you own a gun, but because you've done the work to stay steady when everything else isn't.
  • You're open to work that goes beyond the physical. Breath, stillness, grounding — the stuff most men avoid is exactly where the growth is.
  • You understand that the warrior isn't defined by his weapons. He's defined by his base.
  • You know that being dangerous isn't enough. A warrior without a center is just a man with a weapon.

This probably isn't for you if you're looking for a tactical shooting course or a BJJ seminar. It's not either of those things individually. It's something different. If that interests you, keep reading.
